Crafty Room
Monday, April 23, 2007 Edit This 0 Comments »I started this blog post a while ago...and had taken a break from knitting... due to reorganizing and painting my crafty room. I can now think of it as a cute, crafty, girly "very Jenny" room, as Chris would say. It will be a wonderful place for me to do my crafty things in. I started with inspiration from the Rosie Posie website/blog. I loved the turquoise & red combo, and all of the colorful, flowery things there. I ended up with turquoise walls and white trim. It took me all of last Saturday to paint the room.
Last week, I found the best fabric to make drapes. I found a great white eyelet fabric, a turquoise eyelet fabric, and a great dark pink and white gingham material. They turned out very cute, I think. I made a matching bulliten board with the remaining fabric.
Sunday, I spend the afternoon repainting my desk, chair, and tall stack of drawers all white. They were once cream and peach, now they will match the whiteness of the crafty room. I finally have a matching room. Now it's just time to get it all back in there...and I'm weeding things out as I go. Happy spring cleaning!
